The Spinner is a softball training aid designed to teach the pitching spins and rotation directions in fastpitch softball.
Whether you are working on the basics of releasing the softball or the advanced spins of the rise, curve or drop, the Spin Right Fastpitch Spinner is an essential tool to have in your arsenal. The Spinner is used at many of the top collegiate softball programs throughout the country.
The Spin Right Fastpitch Spinner was invented by softball hall-of-famer Cheri Kempf at the nationally renowned softball camp Club K. It is endorsed by pitching experts Ernie Parker and Mona Stevens.
Originally designed for pitchers, many coaches use it to teach proper fundamentals of overhand throwing as well.

I use the spinners to start beginner pitchers the proper wrist snap and then to work on spins when ready. Parents and students don ot need to know everything about pitching to see what is incorrect when throwing. Instant feedback without negative comments from a coach and that is a time saver. I also use them as a everyday training tool to teach overhand throwing for the younger players as well. It's fantastic. I|The only con is it is a 12" spinner and the girls who play with 11" balls have difficulty holding it. Otherwise this is amazing.

Spinner was great/ DVD wasn't
Still waiting on a replacement DVD - what instruction we could get from DVD was good, but tried the DVD on 3 machines and it froze and skipped really bad on all 3.

Great training aid. Recommended by College Pitching coach. Really helps them get a feel for and visualize how they are supposed to spin the ball. Great visual aid - if it wobbles, your probably not getting the best spin on your breaking pitches. Not too hard or soft. Nice that it's softer so it doesn't hurt floor if dropped or anyone that may be hit with it.

This is a great tool to teach proper throwing technique. It makes you have the correct form and you see instantly if you are doing it correctly. Many times, especially with young girls, they don't feel they are throwing incorrectly. With this aid, it does all the talking. Fun to use and basically indestructible. A bit expensive (manufacturer's price) for a hunk of rubber but this was a competitve price on this site.

Very useful in making sure your rotation is correct and spin rate is good....especially for the curveball and screwball. The included DVD shows somw neat drills as well.

We bought this for our daughter and she uses it almost every day. This "spinner" is great for learning how to control a softball by pushing it off your fingertips using the seams. You can increase velocity and accuracy of your pitches by practicing pushing the spinner off your fingers when you follow through. It can be tossed against any wall or backstop/fence/net so it can be used just about anywhere. I recommend storing this in a bat bag to keep it away from dogs - they like to chew on it. Also, recommend not leaving it out in the sun all the time.

I bought this for my daughter and it has helped her on getting better spin control. She is relatively new to pitching and so this was perfect for her to be able to practice with even in her roon just rolling it off her fingers into the air.

This is a great tool to keep around handy. It makes it so much easier to get spin on the ball. And we are able to watch the disk to see the rotation on it and correct where we find mistakes in her mechanics. IT has been very very helpful getting our daughter ready to pitch this season.
Keep in mind that some dogs may think it is a new chew toy like our Lab did. He loved it!!!! :/
