I bought this glove my freshman year of high school, and over the course of my career I caught probably 200+ games with this glove. After all of the wear and tear I have put this mitt through, it still feels like a new glove. This glove is the best piece of baseball equipment I have ever purchased, it was well worth the money.

I already know this glove will be the best glove I will ever have and I just received it a couple days ago. Lucky enough, I have a pitching machine in driving distance and i can use it any chance I get. With that said, yes, the glove might take a while to break in and form to your liking if you dont have the luxery of a pitcing machine. But once the glove is "there" you will love it. Buy it, your son will love you forever. Haha

Great glove for catchers from high school ball up. Long break in but after a while the glove was like butter. It sounds like a cannon when i catch a ball in the pocket. I would buy this glove again and again

This glove is impossible to break in. It took a year and a half to break it in. Last season was the first season I used it in games. Bottom line is once it is broken in amazing glove.Great pop almost every ball caught in the pocket sounds like a cannon shot. Develops a great pocket and easy to transfer ball to hand for throwing runners out.

I'm a junior in highschool, and have played varsity for the past two years on my school team. I got this as a gift before my sophomore season, and it has proven to be one of the best in the game. It is very lightweight, but still durable. I have used it for my AAU team as well. I had to relace it once, but other than that it still holds its form very well. Definate buy for any competive catcher!

This glove is a little hard to break in at first. when i first took it out it was like plastic, but after playing catch and oiling it it feels great. its a great mitt and i would buy it again!

This glove is among the best available today, but only after you get it broken in. I got ridiculed because of the ball popping out when I used it in games until it got broken in and it started sounding like a rifle shot when I'd catch one in the pocket. Glove oil and mink oil have been rubbed into mine many times. The thumb pad tends to chafe easily, so invest in some type of glove leather treatment. As with any glove, the laces must sometimes be replaced and tightened.

I am a 21 year old college catcher and have owned many different gloves. This product is the best I have owned so far. It keeps its form the best out of all gloves (not sure about the primo haven't used one). Web holds up fairly well, but like all mitts have to be re strung and tightened.

Teenage son plays high school and travel baseball, we have owned 5 plus catcher's mits. This model provided little protection for middle and index finger. Pitchers throwing in mid 80's to low 90's, have had the glove for approximately 1 year, webbing has already broken, even after regular care and maintenance. We hoped by spending more we would secure a mit which would offer more protection and would lasted, that's not been the case. Note pleased with this product.
