Bought this glove for my 11 year old son. He caught a little and his older didn't like him borrowing his catcher's glove anymore. I was little concerned it would be too big (33.5"), but it was perfectly fine and it's nice to know he can use this glove as he grows and if he continues to play baseball and catch. IMO, the youth size gloves are too small and there is no upside. The glove was difficult to break-in, but it should be, it's a good quality leather and you want to shape it to fit the user's hand and not flop around and to form a nice pocket. It's also more than half the cost of All-Stars highest end catcher's glove, and you can't really tell the difference. Great Value! Also, it comes with the wrist guard which kids seem to like (style) while providing protection (substance). FULL-DISCLOSURE, I looked at all the All-Star catcher gloves at a brick and mortar before purchasing online. :( Overall, a great value and since it's not considered a high end glove, discounts will apply whenever these online retailers are having a sale. For the real high end gloves, the discounts will often not apply.
