The catcher's helmet features a strong, light shell made of injected molded ABS plastic and a dual-welded steel mask. All Star's Players Series Chest Protector comes with multi-layered foam padding with built in sternum plates for added protection. The catcher's leg guards are designed with impact-resistant plastic components for better protection and full wing padding for comfort.

I bought this set for my daughter. She loves it. This is her first year of catching fastpitch softball. I wanted to get our own gear to work at home and away from practice. I feel we made the right decision to buy this set.It is a great way to buy all the gear at once at a reasonable price and she will get years of use out of it.

Helmet does not last.

The snaps do not stand up to normal wear and tear for catchers. We had to patch the helmet together after two weeks.

        This equipment fits well and my daughter has no complaints about the fit, she doesn't have to constantly adjust the shin guards. We have only used it twice so I can't say anything about durability, but it feels like it is constructed well.

            This is a great product. I have owned this set for 3 years so far and it is holding up great. I replaced the mask because i was not cofortable with the padding which was hot and itchy so I go a mizuno samuri mask which is great. Overall this is a great deal for your $$$
