amazing! i play 16u travel wood bat ball. all u will need after applying is to add a little dirt if you want that extra stick like most of you prefer. works great with metal bats too.

If you use liquid pine tar, you need a little dirt to finish the job and create the best grip. If you use too much pine tar, it just becomes slick. Toss a little dirt on the liquid pine tar after you apply it to your bat and it makes a huge difference.

I was disappointed in the liquid pine tar. The towel and holder are fine, but the pine tar itself does not get to the right level of stickiness to actually work well. The liquid remained more liquid and simply made the bat handle slicker.
