Both daughters are fast pitch pitchers both in high school and travel ball. Whether pitching, playing first , second or third they are involved in almost every play. So the ball is coming in their gloves alot. Sometimes harder than others. So to help cushion the impact we have gone to the palm guard. Great catching aide to pad their hands. Most people think a palm guard is only for catchers, but it's the pitcher who gets the ball back every play.

Both my daughters are competitive fastpitch softball pitchers. The ball comes back at them hard after every pitch. Whether it be from the catcher or infielders with very strong arms. When playing traveling tournaments and sometimes 4-5 games a day,their glove hands would be sore from the hard throws. The palm guard works great at padding their glove hands. They say "the pads are in all the right places".
