It works great and is a huge asset on the Diamond. The only improvement would be to silence it all together. You forget about the beep by about the 4th inning, but it would be nice not to have to hear it each time you pushed a button. Details though.

This device is used to count pitches, but unlike others, it keeps track of balls and strikes and provides a running percentage of strikes thrown. The pitches for two pitchers can be counted. The stop watch is a handy feature that can be used without disrupting or cancelling the pitch count(s).

Does not take the place of charting pitches but for a quick reference of total pitches and total balls and strikes, great tool. Also the stop watch is easily used.

I've had mine for a couple years now and the battery is just now indicating that it gets low. In those 2 years I've used this device for practices, warm-ups and game pitchers (I like to see how our pitcher is doing against the other team's pitcher). One of the first questions I get from our pitcher is how high his strike percent (they all know that higher is better - 10 year olds last year). The #2 quesiton is how many strike outs do I have. :)

Very helpful keeping up with Little League pitch counts. Also very good for coaches checking ball to strike ratio's with each individual pitcher. I also use this device to time catchers throws to bases and batters running to bases.
