The Pad is put together great and provides a lot of protection. The Youth Pad does not come with two straps like shown in the picture. That was one of the reasons I got it for my son. I thought it would be a more secure fit. A little disapointed about that. Other than that it is a great pad.

The double back to front hooks keep the pads in place even on hard hits. The quick release on the chest strings make these pads worth every penny. The extended pad length eliminated the need for attaching more pads.

These shoulder pads fit well on my son who is twelve years of age.They have double strapping that keeps his pads on him tight but gives him room for movement at cornerback and protection at tightend and o-gaurd.
