I use the Spat Wrap for added protection during football games as well as keeping the laces tied throughout the game. They are tough when new to put on; especially over 3/4 high top cleats, but once on work well.

I bought this Spat for my 12 year old son. He says it gives him very good support and freedom of motion. This is not just for decoration. The spat fits tight. It take a good tug or 2 to get them over the football cleat.

The sizing on website said a Large is a 12 & up shoe size.
The sizing on the box said a Large is a 12.5 & up shoe size.

They were too loose. FA was great. Shipped out a new pair of Mediums and emailed a return label to return incorrect size

They were very hard to put over cleats the first time but has gotten better. Spats look great and helps me find my son when he's on the football field..

Great reusable SPAT. Offers you added stability for your ankles when wearing low cut cleats. I would not play on game day without these, as they give me the extra peace of mind that I can go above and beyond to make plays without worrying about my ankles. They are washable, breathable, lightweight, and a MUST have.

I use these when a field has more than a dusting of snow on it. These keep snow from collecting around both the top & also in the laces/tounge area, then melting & soaking your socks/feet. You may need some tape (duct or packaging work) for your shoe's toe end/lower laces, as the spats do not cover that area. I have higher-top cleats, so its tough to get the spats on the shoe & to get my feet in them. You may want a bigger size spat in that circumstance. I do not believe these offer any ankle protection/support of any real significance whatsoever though.
