Got this because another coach recommended it. The size is incredible, much better than carrying around my big radar gun. As soon as I got it I took it out on the field to compare the readings to my Stalker and struggled at first. After I talked to the other coach I realized I was triggering it wrong. I went back and downloaded and read their "How to Measure . . ." document and then after a few tries had it down. Then the readings were right on with the Stalker! Now I use it all the time. This thing is great, glad I found it.

We are using it to get an idea of how fast my daughter is pitching a softball. It is easy to use. Just follow directions and you get speeds that are accurate. The thing must be durable. I dropped it twice the first day from about 2 feet onto the gym floor and it still works fine. Have used it from 20 feet away and still reads out speeds just fine.

I was at a pitching clinic, when somebody pulled out the pocket radar from his pocket. They were timing the pitchers and the pocket radar was just as accurate as the higher priced gun. My son put it on his Christmas list but Santa dropped it off for dad after the holiday's. I used it indoors this winter and it was great, it took a little time to get use to but with a little practice its has become an invaluable tool. We are now using it for pitchers and hitters measuring ball speed off the bat. I keep it in my glove box and can't wait for the spring season to start using the pocket radar.

Fantastic radar Gun, could not be easier to use. Follow the easy instructions and you are good to go. No longer have to be embarrassed by pulling out the huge scouting gun at my kids USSSA games. I compared this little guy to my professional gun and it was consistently either right on or within 1 mph. Could not be happier!

I was concerned at first when I read that some people love it and some say it does not work at all. So I asked our local college coach and he said he uses it and loves it for the convenience, the easy size and battery life. He said that it did take him some practice to learn how it triggers. I bought one and he showed me that you just tap the button as the pitcher's front foot is about 2 inches from being planted. It took me a few times to get it right, but then it became natural. The readings were right on with the Stalker Sport that he had there for comparison. I love it and now I use it all the time.
