Excellent balls for my Jugs Jr. single wheel pitching machine. Rock solid consistent, and the covers have held up very well through repeated use. I haven't used other leather cover balls for my machine that are made specifically for machine use (like Jugs Pearl, etc) but I have used regular leather cover balls and those don't last. It is hard to imagine a ball either performing better or holding up better than these.
