Great training tool for enhancing the proper throwing mechanics, as well as developing arm strength. My players alternate their throwing routine by using the weighted baseballs and regular baseballs. They don't throw the weighted balls more than 45-50' The only flaw is if the cover gets wet, it can be slippery.
Excelent Product,i used for my kids, and team partners to give them more power, and training to their arms!!Hightly, recommend this product!!
I might have bought one heavier than I needed but it was extremely hard to throw straight.
This is a great product for Arm Strenghtening purposes.
very good for practice
This is my son's first year of baseball. At the begining he could not throw or catch. By the end of the season, his coaches were impresed at how much he had improved, enough that they also bought a set for the team's pitchers so that they could practice their throwing as well.

Weighted balls help the younger kids develop their arms. These are well priced durable balls. The dark colors on some make them more difficult to catch when it starts to get dark. Also since catching the balls can be a challenge for younger kids, I sometimes roll the balls back to them. For old geezers, warm up seems quicker and better with a weighted ball (I'm speaking from personal experience here..)
I use this ball for strength training for my son "Junior Baseball" and daughter "Minor Softball". For the time that we have had it and used it, approximately 2 months, it appears to have been useful and is doing what I want in the building of stronger throws. Yes, I would purchase it again. Durability is somewhat in question though. We mainly use it over grass, the couple of times that it has hit the playground asphalt the ball has been scuffed up more than I thought it should be.

Great to warm up with..Loosens arm and bb feels like a feather after warm up w/ weighted ball..Pitch is much faster after use.
