Bought these for my 13 year old son who plays competitive baseball. He likes the fact that they help with saving his knees!! Since he is in a huge growth spurt he has enough problems with his knees as it is....these knee savers help tremendously in easing the strain on his knees behind the plate!

Not effective for average size legs. Accomodates shin guards with bigger buckles which is why we purchased but the buckle slides back through the slot, making you re-install each time you put them back on. Not very fun when you are trying to get back on the field and you are trying to "fish" the straps back through every time.

I bought these for my son, who is a pitcher/catcher. I always seen him on his knees when he would play catcher. I bought these for him to see if it would be any different? He wore them and decided that he wanted to gun down a runner stealing a base. What a joy to see it happen too! I thought it wasn't worth it but after that and the smile on his face proved well enough for me.
