I wanted another Cat 5 but was not available for 2012, this bat replaced it I think. It does not have near the pop or power of the Cat 5, we have went back to the prior year Cat 5, this is a good bat just not as good

I am a HS player in Maryland, and I honestly believe this is the best BBCOR bat. I have tried pretty much all of the top BBCOR bats, because teammates have them, and I believe that the Black outperforms any Demarini, Easton, or LS. The only bat that is about as good is the Rip-It. I was going to get that one, but my teammate's broke, and I found out online that that was common, so I got the Black. The Marucci Team is also about as good, but I prefer the Black because it feels better when you make contact. Overall, the Black is about as good as you could ever hope for; it is well balanced, and therefore swings well, and has a lot of pop, especially for a BBCOR. It also looks great. No question, this is the best bat.

this is the best bat ever made it has a large sweet spot, hit my first home run with this bat and it is well balanced.

Im a sophomore in high school and I have tried all the bbcor bats including the vodoo and all those other terrible bats and the Marucci is by far the best bat. Last year I used TPX Omaha and I dont even know a difference between the bats.

i got this for my son for his last in-house game he hadn't got on base all season but when he used this bat he WALKED! It was amazing. Great for big kids. It is great for my son he is 4-9 155 pounds

Bat hit pretty nice all in all, you dont hit the tasers like with a besr bat, but the sweetspot is fairly large and the ball jumps. Very well balanced. The cat 5 may actually have a little more pop, but since the 33" is outlawed.. yeah solid bat. Best BBCOR in my opinion. Oh btw, i used to hit a voodoo besr, so thats the feel i was trying to mimic with my new bat

No doubt the best bat on market.. only thing i dont like about the bat is that it chips easily but it doesn't affect the performance at all. It outperforms any other bat!

This bat is the most balanced bat i have ever swung. It also has a very good sweet spot. This bat could compete with any besr bat on the market.
