Just recieved this bat after being back ordered, actually sent the first one back because the paint was chipped just above the handle, probably from shipping. first tried it out in our batting cage, It's funny how all bats seem to have alot of pop in the cages. So we decided to test it at the field, brought along my Demarini, ( both 28oz.) Did a basket of balls with both bats approx. 35 balls per basket. Had some deep drives with the CF-5 to the fence, However; Hit 4 over the fence with the Marucci. The Demarini has a better balance to it and like wise feels lighter. My Marucci, more end loaded, has more of a heavier feel. Both great bats........... since I had 4 over the fence. I find myself reaching firs for the Mariuuci.

This bat is a great bat to use. I am a competitive college athlete and I love this bat. I do not understand the negative comments about this bat saying its top heavy and has no pop. This bat feels like a 32 oz and has amazing power. You probably have not swung the bat enough to enhance its greatest potential. Its a great bat overall. I do recommend this.

I got this bat as a replacement for my cat5 and had to wait 6 weeks to get it. Boy was I disappointed the bat has very little pop a super small sweet spot, top heavy as well. Wil not get a Marucci bat again!

I currently play in the NJCAA in the midwest. Playing when it is 45 degrees out, you get a lot of stingers. This bat almost completely eliminated that for me, not to mention producing an above .400 average. I've hit 3 home runs with it in the 2 weeks i've been using it. This bat has a great feel, great pop, and great weight distribution. Highly recommend for any serious player.

I had a 33/30 CAT5 and was sent this as a replacement. First glance, "Woh this looks like a cool design." I'm a senior in college and having used several team bats from different companies, this is BY FAR the worst bat I have ever used to date. Top heavy, poorly balance, absolutely no pop. You can't even compare this bat to any other BBCOR bat because it is fact is THAT BAD. It is unbelievably obvious that Marucci quickly needed to make a bat to get out to the 33/30 users. It's a lead pipe. Worst BBCOR bat on the market.

My two sons are both high school players and had to go with this bat due to the Cat 5 decertification. They received it 2 weeks ago and both have serious dents in them already. This is a common problem that other players in our area are experiencing and are in the process of trying to get their money back from Marucci. I wish we had gone with a company that has a long history of manufacturing bats with all of the changes that are going on.
