This bag absolutely works as described. It has double hooks to easily hang on the fence and has separate compartments and velcro shelves to hold gear and keep your helmet, gloves, etc easily accessible. But it's so big, I would NOT recommend it for a youth who wants to carry his own gear and look professional running across the field to his team. It really needs padded backpack straps. In fact, I'm thinking of having a tailor add them to make it more manageable for my 11-year-old.

Bought this for my 6 yr old and it works very well. The "locker" shelves give him an area specific to his gear so it avoids looking for gear between innings.

This is probably the largest bag you can buy without wheels. In fact it is larger than most bags with wheels. I got it so that I would have all my softball gear (bats, gloves, drinks, ice , etc.).

Great quality, durable. Stores all gear as well as catchers gear - However due to that, it can be heavy and the bag does not have wheels.

The shelves are very useful during game play for glove and helmet. If you keep the shevles intact afterwards there is limited space for clothing in the main compartment. Overall it is a comfortable and has plenty of pockets for accessories and personal items. I have had a few baseball bags and without spending $100 on the wheel versions this is a good alternative.

Great bag. Well structered. Zippers are very strong.LOve the shelve system.Has a place for all my stuff. I carry 2 sets of batting gloves 2 batting helemts 4 mitts and 4 bats with pine tar my cell phone and a bat weight and still have a alot of room left. Its a great bag.

If you're looking for a bag that will do it all, this is it! Very well thought out with the design. Aside from holding my 5 bats (wood) well, there's a place for everything else... gloves, cleats, keys, phone, batting gloves, wristbands, helmet, bat weight, Phiten, etc, etc, etc.
