I should have bought this sooner.My son was pitching a terrific first game when it happened. It was towards the end of the game, 2 outs last batter up and WHAMMMM.My son was hit in the face with a line drive.Thank goodness he only broke his nose.Anyway,1ER visit,2 CT scans, and 1 nose surgery later I am up to my eyeballs in debt.If he had been wearing the mask, this never would have happened. Please DO NOT hesitate, BY IT NOW!!!!!

Bought this mask for my 11 year old daughter. It would be perfect except for the strap. You will see two different straps in the product description and notice that it says now with an updated strap to accomodate ponytail. My daughter's mask came with the old strap that does not go over the top of the head and does not accomodate a ponytail. I waited to long to return it...so if that's important to you check the strap right away. Mask is nice, fits well, looks good.

After witnessing a terrible on field accident we now require all of our infield to wear a protective mask. Eight of our twelve players have purchased this mask. Our kids say it has great visibility and is comfortable. I find it is very durable. We haven't seen any problems with the cushions and the straps are durable. Ialso like the protective coverage. My eight and twelve year old daughters refuse to take the field without them.

Im a softball pitcher, and had a couple incidents
Im so glad i got it at the right time.. I got hit in the face really hard, thank god i had the face guard.
It fits and is good for infields for those slap bunts and those pop flys also.
You can always keep eyes on the ball, instead of turning your head if its a little too fast.

You should increase the price and include the pony tail option for all. The pony tail option can be used for boys or girls because it makes the mask fit more securely. I am going to require all my pitchers and 3rd baseman to wear a mask in fallball, summer travel and recreation. You do not carry the pony tail option, but should.

I ordered this mask last season when my daughter got moved to 3rd base. I love the safety features, especially when we met up against teams that used the slap bunt. I especially love the fact that she no longer turns her head away when fielding the ball...her eyes are always looking where they need to be! This year, my younger daughter ASKED to get one, the order went in right away!!
