This is a great practice tool. Makes the user focus harder on contact with the ball and the heavier weight is great for increasing bat speed at the same time. I highly recommend this for any kid that wants to become a better hitter. Works almost immediately

I would recommend this training aide to the rec/competitive athlete. The stick is however a lttle heavy for the younger (coach pitch or younger) athlete.
