Marucci bats are the best bats out there. I'm a huge Utley fan and was excited to hear about his custom bat. The tapering of the bat from handle to barrel looks sweet, and it has a ton of pop; however, there's only about a one-inch sweet spot. I would only recommend this bat to seasoned wood bat users or else you'll find yourself getting jammed or hitting the ball off the end. I've been using wood for years, and this bat beats them all. I've literally taken 1,000 swings with this bat, and other than seam dents and some exposure of the grain on the barrel, it works great. It's worth every penny.

I use this bat in competitive Bantam AAA / Midget AAA play. It has jus the right weight to length ratio for medium sized contact hitters. The bat seems to be fairly durable as this is my second one and my other one lasted a full season of play (50+ games). [...] Pretty good product overall!

Ive had this bat for a little over a year and Ive had no problems. Definitely going to get another. Great sweet spot, and no stinging.

I use this bat in both games and pre-game BP and it is awesome. The other day we were taking BP prior to our game and I hit a bomb to Left-Center and some of the guys on the other team came over to take a look at my bat because the sound the bat makes is just different. It sounds awesome. It has awesome pop as well. I've hit balls off the end of the bat for hits and It never stings my hands. This is by far the best bat I've ever had. You won't be disappointed.
